So lo and behold, this is our new home. It feels wonderful and actually has room to have people over. I can’t wait, in fact tonight we had our district meeting here at our house. Everyone could actually sit down. The president is reminding me that I owe him. ( That is a terrifying thought!)
The front room standing in the kitchen. We have three rockers and a huge divan. Tables and lamps…..Who knew!
Of course, I have to add a pillow or two and always a plant, Our family pictures make everything look so much like a real home. People comment on all of our pictures. I am so glad I brought them.
Standing in the living room looking into the kitchen.
No kitchen is complete without a washer and dryer, but I don’t have to go into an ugly old basement to use them. I am so grateful.
Bathroom, I have since changed out the rugs. Never ever blue in my house.
A hutch by the front door.
A little décor.
A king sized bed that is so comfortable I just melt!!! I can even fall out of bed if I want to and look!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A nightstand for all my junk!
Our first out of town visitors!! Billie and Rosa came all the way from Kansas City to see us. I am so grateful for forever friends. We had a great time and I taught them how to make these Nauvoo scarfs…We had a great couple of days together.
I sure love these two women. We will be eternal friends. Through all of the years and the miles that separate us, we still care. I am blessed.
SO WELCOME TO OUR NEW HOME AND YOU ARE ALWAYS WELCOME HERE IN NAUVOO
